Dusk to Dawn Twilight Sensor
What is the Dusk to dawn twilight sensor ?
Our Dusk to dawn twilight sensor is effectively a switch, that sits between the LED House Numbers and the electricity mains of the house. The sensor should always be wired by a qualified professional.
What does the Dusk to dawn twilight sensor do?
When the light starts to reduce at twilight, the sensor triggers the switch and this turns the LED House Numbers ON. When the light starts to increase at dawn, the sensor triggers the switch again and turns the LED House Numbers OFF.
It is a set and forget solution, to automate the ON/OFF of your Illuminated House Numbers.
How many Dusk to Dawn sensors do I need for my set of House Numbers?
You only need one Dusk to dawn sensor for your set of house numbers. The sensor connects to the LED Driver, not directly to the numbers, so you only need 1 per LED Driver.
Our LED Driver powers up to four 15cm house numbers.
Where do I install it?
The Twilight Sensor is a separate accessory, it is not integrated into the House Numbers. It therefore must be installed somewhere close to the House Numbers (by a qualified professional), with the small 5mm light capture sensor exposed to the natural light.
How is it wired?
The wiring will go inside the wall cavity and connect with the House mains, and the LED Driver.
See our installation manual for more details on exactly how to wire the Dusk to dawn twilight sensor.
